Happy New Year... only a month and a half late. I have had an amazing start to 2014. I spent almost 2 weeks in California at the end of January visiting family and attending the NAMM show in Anaheim. I signed autographs at the Ludwig Drums booth for the first time, which was a blast. Met lots of great people and made many new friends. I hope I get to do it again next year. I’m currently doing as many sessions as I can and tracking drums at my home studio - Shrug Sound Studio. I’m also in pre production for my upcoming web series called Players Din. Of course, I will be hitting the road again this Spring with Casey James and look forward to seeing as many of you on the road as possible.

I just did an interview with Drummers Resource. A new website and podcast from my friend Nick Ruffini. Please go check it out here JEFF BROWN INTERVIEW. You’ll learn how I got my start, other artists I’ve played with and tips for young musicians. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks.

A little over a month ago I started playing with Casey James. You might know him from American Idol a few years back. It’s been a great gig with some great musicians and fun shows. Check the SHOWS page to see if we’re playing anywhere near you. I’ve also been in the studio with my good friend Roger Alan Nichols tracking a few demos for the Warren Brothers. So, all is right in my little universe right now.

Very excited to announce I’m the newest member of the BOSO Drumsticks family
of drummers. Please go check out their products. www.bosodrumsticks.com They are made from renewable and sustainable Anji Bamboo. The Strata series has the weight and feel of hickory, but the strength and durability of oak. The sticks just feel amazing in your hands. They also make a Natural series that are light weight and perfect for lower volume applications. I’m using the Strata 5B. I’m proud to be using such a great stick from a great company.
